Today was another day that was mostly spent at the villa to relax and hang out by the pool. However, I was lucky enough to go for another run to Marza and jump in the water again since Jay got up with the kids. When I came back to the villa, I made breakfast for the kids and got them ready. Beckett was having a rough morning so that was a bit of a challenge. Despite dealing with a cranky toddler, I was able to get more laundry and packing done and then sat outside with Grammy and the 4 children. It was another hot day with no rain in the forecast so we spent some time by the pool after we had lunch and Beckett napped.
Brooke and Beckett played their favorite songs on their Yoto music player while dancing around the deck to provide us with some entertainment. It was also fun to try and spot flamingos flying in the distance!

Jay’s description of our evening:
We decided to just do an easy dinner and so I drove into town to get a pizza. I had tried calling a few places but none of them were answering. So, after driving there, the first place I found wasn’t open yet because 6:30 is too early to be open for dinner. So, I drove to another place and same story. Finally, the third place I found was actually open! I quickly ordered two grande Margherita pizzas from Mastro Pizza in Pozzallo. The lady gave me a look but I didn’t know and so I just ignored it. About 15 minutes later, my pizzas were done and I understood the look. These pizzas were HUGE. I grabbed them and headed back to the villa, worried if the kids were even going to eat a single bite of these two massive pizzas.
Back at the villa, I open up the boxes and start serving pizza. Brooke is absolutely in love with the pizza and to this day wants to go back because it was her favorite pizza ever. Beckett also crushed an awkwardly large amount of pizza. And it turns out, getting two grandes was the absolute right move!
As the kids finished up their dinners, Jaclyn headed out with the rest of the family for dinner. I decided to hang back and take it easy and give the kids a rest from being up late constantly, and give Jaclyn a bit of a calmer dinner without both kids.

Jaclyn went to dinner with everyone except for myself and the kids in a town called Pozzallo at Ristorante Cianciuolo which served seafood and had views of the Mediterranean Sea.
